# Ironclad

The Ironclad integration connects Harmony with Ironclad, the contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform. Once connected, your support team can access and reference contract data directly within Harmony - reducing context switching when handling contract-related inquiries and keeping your team focused on resolving issues faster.

### Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, make sure you have:

* An active Ironclad account with the necessary permissions to authorize third-party connections
* Access to the Integrations section in your Harmony settings

### Connecting Ironclad to Harmony

To set up the Ironclad integration:

1. In Harmony, navigate to **Settings** and open the **Integrations** section.
2. Locate **Ironclad** in the list of available integrations.
3. Click **Connect** and follow the prompts to authorize Harmony to access your Ironclad account.
4. Once authorization is complete, the integration status will update to show that Ironclad is connected.

After the connection is established, contract data from Ironclad becomes accessible to your support team directly within Harmony.

### What Your Team Can Do

With the Ironclad integration active, your support team can:

* Access contract records from Ironclad without leaving Harmony
* Reference contract details when handling contract-related support inquiries
* Reduce time spent switching between tools during customer interactions

### Disconnecting Ironclad

If you need to remove the integration:

1. Go to **Settings** and open the **Integrations** section.
2. Find **Ironclad** in your connected integrations.
3. Click **Disconnect** and confirm your choice.

Disconnecting will remove Harmony's access to your Ironclad data. Your data in Ironclad itself will not be affected.

### Troubleshooting

If you experience issues connecting or using the Ironclad integration, check the following:

* Confirm that your Ironclad account credentials are valid and that your account has permission to authorize integrations.
* Ensure you completed the full authorization flow during setup.
* If contract data is not appearing as expected, try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.

If issues persist, contact [Harmony Support](mailto:support@harmony.com) for assistance.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.harmony.io/integrations/saas-applications/ironclad.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
