# Product Updates

{% updates format="full" %}
{% update date="2026-08-11" tags="new-releases,fixes" %}

## August 11, 2026

AI, Automation & Knowledge Base

* **Equipment Request Agent with Inventory Awareness** - You can now deploy a pre-built Equipment Request agent that lets employees request peripherals and accessories in plain language. Harmony Assets acts as the single source of truth for availability, so requests are always matched against real inventory.
* **Automatic HRIS to IDP Field Sync Agent** - You can now automatically sync employee attribute changes from BambooHR or HiBob directly into Okta or Entra. When a new hire joins, transfers departments, or is terminated, the corresponding IDP fields update automatically - no manual effort or custom scripts required.
* **AI Workflow Builder Child Workflow and Copilot Fixes** - We've fixed two issues where the AI assistant would incorrectly configure child workflow steps and variable bindings, causing runtime failures. Workflows built or modified with Copilot now wire steps and field references correctly the first time.

Software / Applications

* **Ask About Contracts and Get Renewal Alerts** - You can now stay on top of software contracts directly within Harmony, with the ability to query contract details and receive proactive renewal alerts - so upcoming renewals are never missed.

Asset Management

* **Import Assets with Custom Fields via CSV** - You can now populate custom asset fields directly from a CSV import. When you download the template, your account's custom fields are automatically included as columns, eliminating the need to manually update fields after each bulk upload.
* **Tequipy Asset Management Integration** - You can now connect Tequipy as an asset management integration in Harmony. Once your API key is stored securely in integration settings, Tequipy is available alongside your other asset management tools.

Integrations & Settings

* **Brand Logo Now Shown in Outbound Emails** - We've fixed an issue where outbound email replies displayed the Harmony logo instead of your own. Tenants with an SVG logo uploaded were silently falling back to the Harmony mark - your logo now appears correctly in all outbound email communications.
  {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-08-09" tags="new-releases,improvements,fixes" %}

## August 9, 2026

Dashboard & Analytics

* **Custom Fields as Dashboard Dimensions** - You can now use your own custom ticket fields as dimensions and measures in dashboard widgets automatically - as soon as a custom field is added to your tickets, it appears in the widget builder with no engineering work required.
* **Live Metrics Fetch Data at Query Time** - We've added support for live metric queries, so data is fetched at the moment you run a report rather than relying on a scheduled snapshot - giving you the most current view every time.
* **Home Dashboard Now Live in Slack** - You can now access a personalized Home Dashboard directly inside the Harmony Slack app, giving you a role-tailored view of your work without leaving Slack.

AI, Automation & Knowledge Base

* **Bulk License Reclamation via Employee Surveys** - You can now deploy the Unused License Reclamation pre-built agent to identify inactive software licenses and act on them at scale - a new Bulk Acknowledgement block sends button-based survey messages to hundreds of employees at once, collects responses, and removes unneeded licenses automatically.
* **Custom Workflow Engine Migration Fully Supported** - We've completed the infrastructure to migrate custom workflows from V2 to V3 invisibly - run history, version lists, and timelines remain unified with no gaps, duplication, or split views after migration.
* **Temporary Admin Access Automation** - You can now deploy a prebuilt Temporary Admin Access agent that handles the full lifecycle of time-limited local administrator requests - from approval through automatic MDM revocation - without IT handling each case manually.

Service Desk & Tickets

* **Custom First-Reply Email Templates per Desk** - You can now fully customize the automatic confirmation email sent to reporters when a ticket is created, configured individually per desk with dynamic variables for ticket details - previously this message was fixed and uneditable.
* **Throughput-Balanced Ticket Assignment** - We've added a new Least-loaded (throughput-balanced) assignment method that ranks agents by an Effective Load Score combining open tickets and tickets assigned today, distributing work more fairly across your team.
* **Disable SLA Tracking per Desk** - You can now disable SLA tracking entirely for specific desks or subdesks, giving admins granular control over which queues are subject to SLA timers without affecting the rest of your configuration.

Asset Management

* **Save and Reuse Asset Filter Presets** - You can now save filter configurations in the asset list view and return to them instantly - presets are stored per user and survive page refreshes and session ends, eliminating the need to re-apply filters every visit.
* **Richer Asset Search in Service Catalog** - We've improved the asset selector in the Service Catalog so you can search and filter across a wide range of hardware attributes, rather than being limited to basic fields.

Software / Applications

* **Flexible Timeframe Filtering for App Utilization** - You can now filter application utilization and usage statistics by the time period that matters to your workflow, replacing the fixed 90-day window with a configurable timeframe selector across the Applications area.
* **Instance Source Visible in Provision Tab** - You can now see the source identity provider for each app instance directly in the Provision tab via a new Source column - no need to open each instance individually to identify whether it originates from Okta, Entra ID, or another provider.

Integrations & Settings

* **Zendesk Ticket Migration Now Includes Attachments** - You can now migrate Zendesk tickets to Harmony with all message attachments carried over automatically - each file is downloaded and linked to the correct message in the conversation thread, with up to 10 attachments preserved per message.
* **Rippling Now Supported as an MDM Provider** - You can now connect Rippling as an MDM provider for asset management using the same API key already in use for HRIS sync - no new credentials required.
  {% endupdate %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.harmony.io/product-updates/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
