Transform your IT operations with Harmony's intelligent Slack integration. Get real-time alerts, execute commands, and collaborate seamlessly—all from within your Slack workspace.

Quick Start​

Add Harmony to Your Slack Workspace​

  1. Log into your Harmony dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations
  3. Select "Slack" from the available integrations
  4. Click "Connect to Slack"
  5. Authorize the permissions when prompted
  6. You'll see a welcome message: "Hello! 👋 Feel free to ask me anything IT-related!"

What Harmony Does in Slack​

Receive IT Ticket Notifications​

Harmony automatically sends notifications to your designated Slack channels for:

  • New IT Tickets: Employee requests for hardware, software, or technical support
  • Ticket Updates: Status changes, assignments, priority updates, and resolutions
  • Escalations: High-priority tickets requiring immediate attention
  • Service Requests: Equipment orders, access requests, and account changes

Interact with the Harmony bot to get instant answers from your corporate IT knowledge base:

  • IT Procedures: "How do I set up a new employee's laptop?"
  • Troubleshooting: "User can't connect to WiFi, what should I check?"
  • Policy Questions: "What's our password policy for new accounts?"
  • Ticket Management: "Create a ticket for printer issues in conference room B"
  • Knowledge Base: "Show me the steps to install Office 365"

The bot responds to:

  • Direct messages: Send any IT question directly to the bot
  • Slash commands: Use /harmony commands for quick actions
  • Natural language: Ask questions in plain English

Privacy & Security​

  • Harmony only accesses channels where the bot is explicitly invited

  • Integration can be revoked at any time from your Slack workspace settings
